Sub-processors
Last updated: 27 October 2026
A sub-processor is a company that processes the personal data in the files you send to the API ("Customer Data") for us. This list is part of our Data Processing Agreement (Appendix 3). Before we add or replace a sub-processor, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before, and you may object (DPA section 7).
Sub-processors for Customer Data
| Company | What it does | Where the data is |
|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany | Servers, network and load balancer on which the service runs; the mailbox for support e-mail | Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany |
Other providers (no Customer Data)
These companies help us run the business, but never receive the files you send or the files we make. What they get is explained in the Privacy Policy.
| Company | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc., USA | Domain names (DNS), and storage for our encrypted database backups, which hold account data but no Customer Data. Your requests do not go through Cloudflare. | Backups in the EU only |

The tools we use to build and run the service (code hosting, secret storage, uptime checks and AI coding tools) never receive Customer Data.
